Using User Profil as a filtring criteria in SPVisibility Filter?

Hello JoeD,

I followed the steps of the example in the home page ( which is based on Connection visibility filtring and it worked very well.

Then, how can I apply a Visibility filtring based on User Profile values (for example the login or name values : if user A is logged in, so Web Part A becomes visible, else the Web Part B is shown) ?

Thank you.

For the Data Source, choose "UserProfile".

In the Data Source Field, specify the User Profile field name.  For example, "Name" or "Account".

This should allow you to determine visibility based on the user.  (You can also do this using Audiences in MOSS.)
